I was worried after reading on various sites that my error code 8002F157 meant that the console was either worthless, needed to go back to Sony, or needed to undergo a laundry list of steps (of which I had all attempted but to no avail). I sent it in to videogame911 where I took comfort in reading all the testimonials and researching the company via facebook. Sure enough, I sent in my console, knowing that it may very well be unrepairable. A courteous employee called me and wanted to know every bit of the history of my used console. The information I told him, however, was not significant in determining what was the root of the problem. I was assured that the engineers would inspect all parts of the console so that the root of the problem would be solved. I confess, I was quite worried. Then the next day, I got the email explaining what was the problem with the console and that it was ready to repair with my confirmation. I was so enthused! Not only did my console get repaired, the fan and motherboard was cleaned and it was shipped with next day delivery, all at even less than what Sony charges JUST TO INSPECT THE SYSTEM! Much kudos to the entire staff at videogame911 for a job well done!
